Being born into an army officer's family provided me with the opportunity to live in various locations across India. Throughout my upbringing, I had the privilege of residing in numerous houses, with each stay lasting at least one year. From Delhi to Pune, Jammu to Meerut, Shillong to Jaipur, and many more cities across India, I experienced the diversity of homes firsthand. Even as a child, I had a keen awareness that each house possessed its own unique energy and vibration.

 I often heard my parents discussing the impact of different houses on our lives. They would remark on the peace and harmony a particular house brought us, or how another dwelling seemed to contribute to frequent illnesses. There were even instances where they attributed career advancements to a specific house. These observations fascinated me and made me realize that each dwelling had its own distinct aura and influence.

As a child, I became acutely aware that every house possessed its own distinct qualities, character, and energy that could either benefit or negatively affect its inhabitants. I had a keen sense of discernment even at a young age and could intuitively perceive whether a house exuded positivity and warmth or had a more unsettling atmosphere

One particular incident stands out in my memory. In Shillong, there was a house that everyone in the Army cantonment advised my father against choosing. However, due to limited options, we were compelled to take it. From the very first day, I never felt comfortable or at ease within its walls. I was only 15 years old at the time, but a sense of unease pervaded my entire being whenever I was in that house.

Tragically, our time in that house was short-lived, as within just three months, our family faced an unimaginable tragedy. My elder brother, our parents' only son, lost his life in a tragic road accident at the tender age of 18. Some attributed this misfortune to the house itself, while others attributed it to destiny. While I may not have all the answers, I instinctively knew from the beginning that something was profoundly amiss within the walls of that house.

Following that tragic event, my father received a compassionate posting to Meerut, where we resided for the next two years. I have fond memories of that period, as the house we lived in had a tranquil and calming atmosphere. It provided our family with a soothing effect that helped us navigate through the difficult aftermath of our loss. It became a sanctuary for us, offering solace and a sense of healing.

During my time in Meerut, I completed my 12th grade education. It was a significant milestone, and I am grateful to that house for creating the perfect environment for me to focus and excel in my studies. With the support and ambiance of that peaceful dwelling, I managed to achieve remarkable academic success, scoring an impressive 99% in most of my science and math subjects. This accomplishment held great significance in 1995 and I attribute it to the sanctuary that the house provided me during those crucial years of my education.

After completing my 12th grade, I pursued a four-year interior design degree that included various architectural courses. This educational journey exposed me to building construction technology, architectural map-making, and more. In 1999, upon earning my degree, I embarked on my professional career by joining an architectural firm. It was during this time that I received my first assignment: creating a house layout entirely based on Vastu principles. This marked the beginning of my exploration into the ancient Indian architectural science of Vastu Shastra, a concept that was entirely new to me as I had never studied it before.

To delve deeper into this fascinating subject, I began extensive research. However, at that time, there was limited information available online, so I had to visit various libraries across Delhi NCR to gather relevant materials. The more I delved into the subject, the more captivated and intrigued I became. It felt like a moment of revelation, as if I had stumbled upon a hidden ancient treasure. During this era, Vastu principles were not commonly considered in architectural drawings or building construction. As a result, I discussed my findings with my architect boss and proposed that our firm could differentiate itself by incorporating Vastu principles into our house designs. Our idea was met with enthusiasm, and soon we began receiving numerous projects that required Vastu-based designs. This early stage of my career provided me with abundant opportunities to work on Vastu projects.

As my studies, research, and practical experience in Vastu grew, I realised that it couldn't be practiced in isolation; a good understanding of astrology was also necessary. According to ancient texts, the planetary positions in astrology and the directional aspects of a house or workplace are deeply interconnected. To offer a holistic solution, both Vastu principles and astrological considerations had to be integrated hand-in-hand. This realisation compelled me to further expand my knowledge and expertise in astrology, creating a comprehensive approach to address the Vastu and astrological needs of my clients.

At this point, I realised that there was yet another subject I needed to thoroughly understand before claiming complete mastery of Vastu Shastra and its diverse implications. It dawned on me that I possessed a natural inclination towards astrology, which seemed to run in my family's genes. I owe this inclination to my grandfather, who was a renowned astrologer in his time. His presence became an influential part of my life, particularly after the tragic loss of my brother. He came to live with us and remained by our side until his last day. I cherish fond memories of sitting with him and listening attentively as he provided astrological consultations. Little did I know that one day I would inherit his remarkable legacy.

Motivated by this family connection and my own growing fascination with astrology, I embarked on higher education in this field. Simultaneously, I pursued a doctorate in Vastu Shastra. This dual educational journey allowed me to delve deeper into both disciplines, expanding my understanding of the intricate interplay between astrology and Vastu. The wisdom passed down from my grandfather, combined with my formal studies, equipped me with a comprehensive foundation to explore and unlock the profound insights of both astrology and Vastu Shastra.

In 2003, a significant turning point occurred in my journey when I had the privilege of meeting my spiritual Master, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji, for the first time. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji is the revered founder of the Art of Living Foundation, the world's largest NGO. Seeking his blessings, I embarked on a professional path in practicing Vastu Shastra. 

Under the guidance and blessings of my Guru Dev, I underwent a transformative and blissful four-year sojourn of spiritual practices and training through the Art of Living Foundation. In 2007, I was honoured to become a faculty member within the organisation. I was entrusted with the responsibility of conducting programs such as the 3 days Happiness Program, the Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES), and the Youth Leadership Training Program (YLTP). These initiatives aimed to empower individuals and foster their personal growth and well-being. 

Furthermore, I actively participated in various sewa projects undertaken by the Art of Living Foundation, including a collaborative effort with UNICEF in the interiors of Bihar. During this period, I was entrusted with hosting the Prayanam Dhyan Shivir (PDS Bihar), a two-day yoga and meditation program held at Gandhi Maidan Patna. This special event featured the esteemed presence of Guru Dev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji and Bihar's Chief Minister, Mr. Nitish Kumar. The program drew an incredible audience of over one lakh people, who came together to embrace the transformative power of yoga and meditation. 

The blessings and guidance I received from my Guru Dev, along with my involvement in these profound programs and projects, have played a significant role in shaping my spiritual journey and deepening my understanding of Vastu Shastra and its connection to overall well-being.

Every day, I dedicate myself to my spiritual practice, conducting multiple-days meditation workshops. Additionally, I actively conduct weekly post workshop follow-up sessions. These spiritual practices serve as a means for me to connect with the subtle energies that guide and assist me in providing accurate insights and solutions to my clients' Vastu and astrological challenges. 

One of the greatest virtues in my profession is the heightened level of intuition that I have developed. This intuition allows me to perceive and understand the underlying dynamics and energies at play in a given situation. I attribute this gift to my daily spiritual practice and the blessings bestowed upon me by my revered Master, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankar Ji. His guidance has been instrumental in shaping my journey, and I am forever grateful for the profound impact it has had on my abilities and knowledge in the field. 

By immersing myself in spiritual practices and remaining connected to the divine energies, I am able to serve my clients with greater clarity, wisdom, and understanding. The spiritual foundation I have cultivated, combined with the blessings I have received from my Master, continue to be invaluable assets in my profession, for which I will forever remain indebted

Since 2009, I have had the privilege of appearing on numerous national news channels and devotional TV channels, including MH1 Shraddha, India TV, Sadhana, Divya TV, and NDTV. These platforms have provided me with tremendous exposure and have granted me the opportunity to travel extensively throughout India and abroad for various Vastu projects. 

Being featured on these esteemed channels has allowed me to reach a wider audience, sharing my knowledge and expertise in the field of Vastu Shastra. This exposure has not only enhanced my professional standing but has also facilitated meaningful connections and collaborations with individuals and organisations around the world. 

Through these media appearances, I have been able to contribute to the understanding and awareness of Vastu principles, and I am grateful for the platform they have provided in spreading this ancient architectural science. The experiences gained through these opportunities have enriched my journey and expanded my horizons, allowing me to serve clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

I am grateful to have received recognition from various forums for my significant contributions to the practice and promotion of the ancient Indian architectural science of Vastu Shastra. By bringing this science into the mainstream, I have had the privilege of witnessing its increasing recognition and reverence among the masses. 

It brings me great joy to observe that people are now beginning to understand the transformative power of implementing Vastu principles in the design and construction of their homes, offices, factories, and industries. This growing awareness signifies a positive shift in perspective, as individuals are now recognizing the profound impact that Vastu can have on their overall well-being and success. 

I am humbled to have played a role in fostering this understanding and appreciation for Vastu Shastra. Witnessing its widespread acceptance and the positive changes it brings to people's lives is truly fulfilling. I remain committed to further promoting and sharing the wisdom of Vastu, as it continues to empower individuals to create harmonious and auspicious living and working spaces.
